Try to access your NAS via SSH

On a Mac open up Terminal.
ssh admin@192.168.0.6 [change the IP Address to suit]
Use your password
Type the following commands:
(The output of these commands should tell you what is actually happening.)

df -h
cat /proc/mdstat
dmesg | tail -n 50
